Charlotte Jean Bothwell Arnold Graveside services for Charlotte Jean Bothwell Arnold, 61, of Rowlett, will be held at 12 noon, Friday in the Old Palestine Cemetery in Cherokee County. Charlotte was born January 10, 1942, the daughter of Imojean (White) Bothwell and the late Everett Bothwell and she left us for a beautiful destination on Tuesday, October 28, 2003, after a long battle with cancer. Charlotte was a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for over 30 years. She was also a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Larry Murray of Dallas; grandson, Brandon Murray of Dallas; mother, Imojean Bothwell of Wells; cousins, Albert, Mary and Jim Bothwell, all of Wells and Ruth Maupin of Alto; and many other relatives and friends that made her life so full and happy. Charlotte was preceded in death by her father, Everett Bothwell and her great-aunt, Margaret Bothwell. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Murray, Brandon Murray, Albert Bothwell, Jim Bothwell, Jerry Arnold and Richard Pyle. Although Charlotte is gone from our sight, we can take comfort in knowing that there is a star in the sky that shines a little brighter and a piece of a very beautiful soul that we can carry in our hearts for the rest of our lives.
