Notes for Lt. John Clark
Came to America in 1718 with his seven sons in the party led from Northern Ireland by Rev. M. Boyd. Settled in Worcester, Rutland, and Colerain.

CONFLICTS: There are some discrepancies on this chart. It appears improbable that the mother had a child (Elizabeth) born as early as 1686-87, and another child (George) born as late as 1722. He came to America in 1718 with his father and settled in Colerain, MA. He was killed by Indians while attempting to get his wife and family to safety at Fort Lewis from their house, a distance of about one mile. The women were wounded and were attended at the fort by Dr. hugh Bolton of Colerain and Dr. William, of Deerfield.
